There is a significant variation in how much protective medical equipment Sweden’s municipalities have access to, a Swedish Radio survey shows.
While some municipalities have access to a supply of face masks and visors estimated to be sufficient for 10 months, others only have enough for two weeks.
There are no national guidelines for how large a municipality’s stock of PPE should be, and Swedish Radio’s survey showed a clear difference in how the different local authorities plan their supplies.
Some expect a second wave of the coronavirus for example, while others do not.
